Your Dog's Best Day

It begins the moment they arrive at one of our modern, full-service doggy daycare centers.

Park Your Paws dog daycare is a supervised indoor dog park in Columbus, Ohio, with locations in Clintonville (Columbus North, 4366 Indianola Ave) and Downtown (395 E Mound St). Daycare is $37 per day, or from $33 a week with a membership, and both locations are open 7 days a week.

Dogs of all sizes play together through the day on a play/nap cycle, with naps, meals and medication handled by trained staff. New dogs start with a temperament test.

Not only do they get to socialize with friends (both furry and human!) throughout the day, but they also have an endless assortment of fun and challenging activities ahead. We think of it like an indoor dog park (varies by facility, some have outside locations as well) where you can drop off your pups for a day of supervised fun.

We believe that a Fun All Day approach is best for dogs' minds and bodies.

But rest assured, when they run out of gas, there are plenty of ways for them to recharge. A nap in the hammock? A quick dip in the pool? Yeah. Sounds good.

Fun All Day

A Day in the Life

Your dog can expect a day rich with exercise and attention, filled with interaction and play with dogs of all ages, breeds, and sizes. Small dogs love big dogs, and big dogs love their little counterparts! (Don't worry, we're careful!) Downtown, we match playgroups by play style; at Columbus North, the pack plays together as one mixed group.

Each location's schedule and every dog's needs can differ, but a day at one of our doggy daycares looks a bit like this.

We are committed to the health and happiness of each pup, so we follow a play/nap cycle that gives them the proper amount of downtime to thrive both at daycare and at home. The schedule doesn't account for additional nap/downtime rotations, but rest assured, we carefully monitor each dog's behavior and attitude to best place them in a playgroup or let them recharge their batteries.

Your only job is to pick them up at the end of the day knowing they got their fill! (Extended or weekend hours may be available by location.)

Why daycare

Benefits of Dog Daycare

In our quest for animal wellness and to earn your trust, it is very important for us to step back and evaluate the effects of dog daycare on our pack.

While there are numerous positive effects, occasionally a particular dog is not well suited for a daycare environment. We will be honest with you and advocate for your dog. If it isn't right for them, we will communicate that with you.

Some of the benefits your pup will experience:

  • Finding life-long friends! Some of our parents end up doing play dates outside of daycare
  • Expend plenty of energy which helps maintain a healthy weight and activity level, especially as they age
  • Socialization and gaining comfort around other dogs and people
